I’m Arthur O’Neill, founder of Arthur & Co., a young candle house built around craftsmanship, fragrance and thoughtful design.
What began as a small collection made for Kingsday has grown into a brand focused on creating candles that feel considered in every detail. From the fragrance itself to the vessel, label and presentation, every element is designed to bring a sense of warmth and character into your home.
2015
The Beginning
Born in Hong Kong, I developed a passion for creativity and entrepreneurship from an early age.
2024
The First Spark
Arthur & Co. was founded, with the first candles created in preparation for Kingsday. What began as a personal project became the beginning of something much bigger.
2025
The First Collection
More than 20 candles were sold near Apollolaan (a street in Amsterdam, Netherlands) that day, giving Arthur & Co. its first real taste of what was possible.
2026
A New Chapter
Arthur & Co. began moving beyond its beginnings, with larger candle batches, refined fragrances and a stronger focus on craftsmanship, presentation and the details that make a product feel truly special.

The Richmond
Arthur & Co. enters its next chapter with The Richmond, a Christmas candle inspired by the warmth and elegance of a festive winter evening. Crafted with soy wax and a sophisticated blend of cinnamon, clove, orange, mandarin, wood and musk.

Arthur & Co. remains a young, independent candle house with a simple ambition: to create beautifully made candles that feel at home in beautiful spaces.
